Do I need to be a pro to create and submit a video?

Nope, the competition is open to everyone living in Switzerland between 12 and 25 years old. You just need to use your basic skills to shoot, edit, and present a film as best as you can.

Is there a fee to enter the competition?

No, there's no fee to enter the Swiss Love in Action short film competition.

What prizes do the winners get?

The winners in each age category will receive CHF 1,000. The runners-up will receive CHF 500. The winning films and all nominated films will be posted on the website www.LoveAction.ch "BEST OF 2026." The nominated films, their filmmakers, and their themes will be presented to the media and social media during and after the award ceremony.

How do I submit my short film?

To submit your film, make sure you read the participation guide carefully and check the checklist.

What are the criteria for choosing films?

The selection criteria focus on how well your film shows 'Love in Action' – basically, how it illustrates compassion through impactful actions by individuals or groups. We'll judge films based on their emotional impact, storytelling, and how clearly they get the 'Love in Action' message across.

When's the deadline to submit a film?

All films need to be submitted by August 14, 2026.
