Jury
The films are judged by a jury of industry experts, filmmakers, and representatives from non-profit services.
Films are evaluated based on their creativity, originality, content, and the filmmaker's talent. A lot of emphasis is placed on the film's ability, potential, and power to touch, inspire, and motivate others to act with compassion, respect, and love, and thus contribute to a better world.
Kamal Musale
This Swiss-Indian filmmaker, director, and screenwriter has made over 30 films – feature films, documentaries, and short films – which he produced with European broadcasters and co-producers, and which have been shown at international festivals (Cannes, Locarno) and won numerous awards. His latest films include Mother Teresa & Me, Curry Western, Bumbai Bird, and the documentary Millions Can Walk (in collaboration with Christophe Schaub). Kamal is a graduate of the National Film and Television School in England.
Sira Topić
Sira Topić is a Swiss-French-Bosnian artist who works as a model, actress, director, and painter. She has appeared in numerous Swiss and European film productions and co-directed the youth documentary series Lost in Paradise. Besides her film career, she also exhibits her works in Swiss galleries. Her works encourage self-reflection and an appreciation for the diversity and beauty of our world.
Susan Wiget
Susan has been working with young people in the social sector for over 20 years. Currently, at the Netzwerk Foundation, she leads work integration projects for young people and young adults who face challenges entering the job market. She studied social work at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and earned an MBA in Social Management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Jacqueline Fritschi-Cornaz
With a career spanning over three decades in theater, TV soaps, commercials, and films, Jacqueline has made a name for herself in the world of art and cinema, especially known for her lead role as Mother Teresa in the film Mother Teresa and Me. With her talent, compassion, and commitment to making a difference through her art, Jacqueline Fritschi-Cornaz continues to inspire artists who want to combine their creative activities with meaningful social impact.
Stascha Bader
As a writer, director, and producer, he's made prime-time reports and long documentaries for Swiss TV and 3sat, even teaming up with author and publisher Anne Rüffer. He also shoots music videos for Swiss bands and singers, and creates communication films for agencies, companies, and institutions. His documentary Rocksteady – The Roots of Reggae, a Swiss-Canadian co-production, snagged the Zurich Film Award and was even nominated for Best Swiss Documentary. His most recent documentary, 'The Secret of Bern,' hit Swiss cinemas in 2025.
