Residency | This is only open to people living in Switzerland. |

Film Submission Guidelines
Theme | All films must be about 'Love in Action'. Your films can focus on personal stories from your everyday life, helpful acts by 'unsung heroes' in your community, local initiatives, or other topics (whether it's a person or an organization). Your story should touch, inspire, and motivate others to reflect and act with compassion, respect, and love. |
Film Length | Films must be a maximum of 5 minutes long, including credits. |
Competition Start Date | The competition officially kicks off on January 15, 2026. |
Submission Deadline | All entries must be submitted by August 14, 2026, at 11:59 PM (CET). |
Registration | Participants need to register for an account to submit their film. |
Technical Guidelines
Film Submission | The submission form must include a brief summary of the film and the Vimeo link or Swisstransfer link . Make sure that the link is correct and that the video can be accessed and shared via the link provided. The link must remain active, and the video must be available for download until the competition results are announced. |
Submission format and upload instructions | All film submissions must be uploaded to the Vimeo platform (or Swisstransfer). |
Required formats | To meet Vimeo's upload requirements, your film needs to be in one of these formats: MP4, MOV, or AVI. We prefer these formats because they work well with Vimeo and help keep your video quality high. |
Visibility Settings | Make sure your video's visibility on Vimeo is set to 'Hidden'. This setting keeps your entry exclusive to the competition, as it won't be publicly searchable or viewable on Vimeo. |
Title for Your Submission | Please title your film on Vimeo as: [Your Full Name]-[Film Title]-LoveAction 2026. This naming helps us organize and identify all the entries. |
Enable Downloads | It's super important to turn on the 'Allow downloads' option in your Vimeo video settings. This feature lets the competition organizers and jury download and review your entry without any internet connection issues getting in the way. This way, your film can be watched in the quality it's meant to be seen in. |
Language | All languages are welcome, and films without dialogue are also allowed, with or without subtitles. |
Following the Rules | Films with culturally sensitive, political, or religiously motivated themes are not allowed in the competition. Your films shouldn't have any obscene, defamatory, or offensive stuff. All entries need to be suitable for a general audience. |
Alternative: Submission via SwissTransfer
If you are unable to upload your film to Vimeo, we also accept submissions via SwissTransfer (free version) under the following conditions:
✅ Maximum file size: 50 GB
✅ Single link: The movie must be uploaded as a single file
✅ Validity: The link must remain active for at least 30 days
✅ Format: MP4, MOV, or AVI only
✅ File name: [your full name]-[film title]-LoveAction2026 (example: Jane_Smith-Good_Deeds-LoveAction2026.mp4)
Important: Please insert the SwissTransfer link directly into the film submission form. No liability for expired/incorrect links. Non-compliant submissions may be rejected.
General Stuff
