While cleaning out their late grandfather’s house, two young people come across a photo album full of memories. Amid old pictures and stories, they ask themselves a question: What remains of a person when they are no longer here? They find the answer not in the things that are left behind, but in what is passed on. Inspired by their grandfather’s illness, they decide not only to feel love, but to put it into action. They go out and give others small moments of attention: they help, listen, accompany, explain, laugh, and are there for one another. In doing so, they discover that a small gesture not only gives something to the other person—but also comes back to oneself. Angels on Earth is a tribute to the small gestures of humanity and to the people who show us how important it is to be there for one another. Because love endures—when we pass it on.
