Mischeli knows what's truly important in life: creativity, curiosity, and love. It's like a hug for myself and the child I used to be. After years of struggling with self-doubt and everything that comes with it, working on this film has been a really healing experience for me. The mean things I sometimes say to myself? Little Michelle doesn't deserve them. She deserves someone to listen to her, play with her, and comfort her when she's sad. With this film, I want to inspire other people to treat themselves with more love and to listen to the child within them. When we take our own needs seriously and take care of ourselves, we can help others better too. And besides: We all deserve to be happy.
