It’s about a lonely little boy who wants to buy a toy airplane to play with but doesn’t have enough money. Then he sees an old man outside who can barely walk. The boy uses his last 3 francs to buy the old man a walking stick. Toward the end, the old man buys the boy the toy airplane he wanted as a thank-you gift. The film shows that when you do something good, you get something good in return.
