“Being Seen” tells the story of a young person who appears to be coping with everyday life in a seemingly normal way. Behind her calm exterior, however, lies a stressful home life marked by domestic violence, arguments, and hurtful words. On the outside, she tries to suppress her feelings and bear the burden of her daily life alone. Only when someone truly notices her and shows her compassion can she let down her guard and find the space to allow herself to feel.
