Back to strangers
The short film «Back to strangers» shows how two people grow closer in everyday life and then drift apart again. A candle the woman gives the man symbolizes their relationship and how fleeting it is. It uses short scenes from a fixed camera perspective. There are no spoken dialogues; instead, calm visuals, light, and colors convey the emotional journey.
Within the theme of «Love in Action», this film presents a form of love that's quiet but meaningful. The relationship is shown through small gestures, shared moments, and mutual attention. But over time, the dynamic changes, the distance grows, until the man is eventually left alone. This development makes it clear that love isn't something to take for granted; it needs to be nurtured. At the same time, the film reminds us how important it is not to lose self-love in any situation. Only those who love themselves can be truly honest and present in a relationship. So, self-love is a basic requirement for any kind of Love in Action.
